Nano Nuclear and Tillman Partner on Micro Reactors for AI Data Centers
Non-binding deal targets up to 6 GW of micro nuclear capacity for US AI campuses by 2040
Advanced nuclear technology developer Nano Nuclear has entered into a non-binding strategic commercial framework agreement with data center developer Tillman Digital Gateway. The partnership aims to deploy Kronos micro nuclear reactors to deliver dedicated, off-grid power to planned AI industrial zones across the United States.

Under the strategic agreement, Nano Nuclear is designated as Tillman Digital Gateway's anticipated preferred nuclear technology provider. The companies plan to collaborate across site evaluation, regulatory licensing, customer engagement, and reactor deployment. The partners are targeting 2 gigawatts (GW) of nuclear generation capacity by the mid-2030s and up to 6 GW or more by 2040.
The deployment will rely on Nano Nuclear's Kronos micro modular reactor, a stationary high-temperature gas-cooled reactor capable of producing 15 megawatts (MW) of electricity. The units are engineered for long-term deployment of up to 20 years without requiring refueling, offering continuous baseload electricity directly to high-density compute infrastructure. Tillman Global Holdings, the parent company of Tillman Digital Gateway, will integrate the micro reactors into its multi-state AI industrial zone expansion strategy.

As hyperscale AI clusters scale toward multi-gigawatt power requirements, public electrical grids face unprecedented congestion and interconnection delays.
